There is a charge for materials per item made, usually from £6-12 depending on the size of the basket. Learning Pembrokeshire
I am a Learning Pembrokeshire tutor, with basketry courses based in Adult Learning Venues in Haverfordwest, Tenby, and Crymych. Starting with round baskets, you can progress onto square baskets including trugs, as well as ovals.
Classes run in 5 week blocks, enabling you to just try it out, or you can book onto several courses and continue developing your basketmaking skills over time. At the end of each course, you will leave with one or two handmade functional baskets.
